Jenna McDonald

Jenna McDonald has trained everything from puppies to dogs with behavioral problems (and their
frustrated owners) for over 25 years, focusing on dog language to understand their motivations and what
training techniques will work best on each dog. The more she learned about dog language, the more
“impossible” cases she was able to help.

She moved to the Portland, OR area in late 2023, with a focus to teach more people about what their dogs
are trying to say, to deepen relationships between people and their dogs, and to help prevent problems.
Using one-day workshops, weekend retreats, and small groups of people, she’s spreading the word on how
to translate Dog into English.
